Dr Rashmi Singh has completed a dissertation work on study of labour induction in patients with previous one caesarean section. In this study patients with previous one caesarean section were divided in to three categories. In first category 30 patients were induced due to unfavourable cervix (mouth of uterus) but high probability of normal delivery. In second category patients came to the hospital in labour. In third category patients were taken for second time caesarean section due to unlikely chance of normal delivery. In all three categories both mothers and babies were completely safe and healthy after delivery. This study was accepted by National Board of Examination.

This topic was awarded with'Dr. N.A.Purundare awards for operative Obstetrics- Labour induction in previous one LSCS with unfavourable cervix at 39 th Annual conference of Mumbai OBG society,5th Dec 2010.
